Yazoo is currently located at 910 Division St. in the Gulch.

Yazoo Brewing is moving. Exactly where is yet to be announced, but founder and brewmaster Linus Hall says they've outgrown their Gulch property and will leave for a bigger space

“This is exciting news for us and for fans of Yazoo beer,” says Hall. “Yazoo is preparing for a long-term future with more room to brew, create, experiment and host our friends. The time is right to find a location for us that is a permanent fit for our operations and aspirations.”

Opened in 2003, Yazoo is the city's biggest craft brewer and has regularly topped the Scene's Readers' and Critics' polls for Best Local Brewery. It moved from Marathon Village to its current home at 910 Division St. in 2010. The operations are located on a 0.86-acre parcel in one of the most sought-after areas in Nashville.

Hall says they will manage the operation to ensure there will be no disruption in distribution.

“We never expected we’d outgrow our first home in Marathon, and we did. And we never expected to outgrow this Gulch location, and we have. Now it is time for a location we can call home for good. It has been amazing to see this area blossom into a thriving neighborhood. While it is bittersweet to leave, we’re thrilled for what is next,” says Hall.

Yazoo is the second brewery in a month to announce a move from the area. Czann's Brewing, located across Eighth Avenue, will move after the building housing its significantly smaller operation was sold in June.
