We're Not Afraid To Get Our Hands Dirty!
Lipman Team Build & River Cleanup With Little Harpeth Brewery
Rusted cans, exterior home siding, shattered glass windows, plastic water bottles and a tire made up the bulk of our river findings.
Saturday we took to the Harpeth River for a community clean up project with Little Harpeth Brewing. Load in was early, and necessary to make sure we had plenty of time to collect trash while enjoying our leisurely float down the river! Teaming up with Foggy Bottom Canoe Rentals made getting on the river in a timely fashion a breeze. We balanced the afternoon with multiple trash pickups, swimming, lunch and a dip over at the rope swing! We set in at 9:30 and finished up right on schedule at 3p. Gary with the Harpeth River State Park kindly helped with logistics and trash pickup at our drop-off. Big Thank you for their help and hard work keeping our Waters clean.
